Thank you so much for your donation to the Wounded Warrior Amputee Softball Team (WWAST). These fine soldiers/veterans will be playing slow pitch exhibition softball games throughout the country, made possible by your contribution. The WWAST’s mission is to inspire and educate others while enhancing the health and welfare of Wounded Warrior amputees. We seek to raise awareness and educate the public about the serious injuries suffered by our men and women in uniform and their subsequent rehabilitation that allows them to function like any other American. Because of you, these players will have the support they need to not only play a sport they love, but serve as an inspiration to all who face adversity. Your generosity will help to send a young amputee child to our life changing camp, fund important amputee related medical research, and assist in funding our annual event schedule.
The IRS has approved the Wounded Warrior Amputee Softball Team as public charity under section 501(c)(3) of the internal revenue code.
